Pro Metal Industries Ltd. is thrilled to announce the successful grand opening of our 50,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Regina, SK, situated in Treaty 4 Territory. This monumental event marks a significant milestone in Pasqua First Nation’s journey towards economic empowerment and self-sustainability.

The new facility, equipped with cutting-edge technology and advanced machinery, positions Pro Metal Industries for unprecedented growth and efficiency. It stands as a testament to Pasqua First Nation’s dedication to excellence and innovation in the manufacturing sector.

Support and Gratitude

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan) for their $3.5 million repayable funding under the Aerospace Regional Recovery Initiative, and to the Department of Indigenous Services Canada for their $1 million investment through the Community Opportunity Readiness Program (CORP). Their support has been instrumental in the successful completion of this project.

Event Highlights

The invitation-only grand opening event, held on June 11, 2024, was a momentous occasion attended by key stakeholders and community members. Highlights from the event included speeches from Chief Matthew Peigan of Pasqua First Nation, Richard Missens, CEO of PFN Group of Companies, and representatives from PrairiesCan and Indigenous Services Canada.
